New York City’s most famous landmark, the Empire State Building, now houses New York’s number one brewery, a two-story 450-seat Heartland equipped with two large bars and four giant flat-screen TV’s. Our full-service restaurant breathes new life into an area overrun with fast food chains. More than just a watering hole with great beer, we offer both visitors and locals excellent food and a feeling of home that only Heartland can offer. Tip: St. Louis style ribs while downing a few pints of Smiling Pumpkin Ale!
Whilst everyone I was with waited in a massive line to go up the empire state building, I decided to go down, because there was no line. I discovered this great little brewery and tried the taster selection of beers. Great sizes for a taster. Nice beers. Excellent atmosphere. I had the better time out of everyone. This is a place I highly recommend. You will be glad you do. Serves food as well.
Come for the beer. I had the Farmer Jon's Oatmeal Stout which was super tasty. And the Great American Beer Festival people agree! It's also got great people watching as you watch the parade of people waiting to go up the empire state building.
Really nice place. We went here because the prices were fair and you still have a great view. The staff is really friendly and helpful. They have a fast pace, but we were still allowed to sit near the windows when finishing up our drinks (after having a meal).
My Neighbor and I were sightseeing and stopped in after going up the Empire State Building. We both had the Angus beef skewers and baked Mac & cheese! DELICIOUS!!
Next time in NYC this is where we will go and will recommend it to my friends who will visit NYC!
