New York City’s most famous landmark, the Empire State Building, now houses New York’s number one brewery, a two-story 450-seat Heartland equipped with two large bars and four giant flat-screen TV’s. Our full-service restaurant breathes new life into an area overrun with fast food chains. More than just a watering hole with great beer, we offer both visitors and locals excellent food and a feeling of home that only Heartland can offer. Tip: St. Louis style ribs while downing a few pints of Smiling Pumpkin Ale!
The Crisp Fried Calamari with spicy plum tomato marinara was special, First time ever served the calamari legs with the normal rings at any restaurant, (we do at home when we make our own). Server Jorge totally attentive and kept water topped up. A plus food and service
My time here was fantastic, I was served very quickly, the bartender was quite knowledgeable, the local drinks on tap were phenomenal, and the food was cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious!!! And the atmosphere is really quite awesome! Definitely worth checking out. Enjoy :)
Whilst everyone I was with waited in a massive line to go up the empire state building, I decided to go down, because there was no line. I discovered this great little brewery and tried the taster selection of beers. Great sizes for a taster. Nice beers. Excellent atmosphere. I had the better time out of everyone. This is a place I highly recommend. You will be glad you do. Serves food as well.
Come for the beer. I had the Farmer Jon's Oatmeal Stout which was super tasty. And the Great American Beer Festival people agree! It's also got great people watching as you watch the parade of people waiting to go up the empire state building.
